Which Hood Warfare 2 modes fit my first match?
Steam lists six modes. Use this table to choose by the action you want to practice; the linked page has the mode-specific first-match plan.
| Mode | Official objective | A good time to try it |
|---|---|---|
| Turf War | Control territory to score | Start here if you want a clear HUD objective and team positioning. |
| GangBang | Finish with the most team eliminations | Try it when you want simple team fights and trades. |
| Chaos | Finish with the most eliminations without teams | Use it to practice choosing and resetting your own fights. |
| Hit A Lick | Take the enemy bag home while protecting yours | Pick it when you want an escort and defense objective. |
| Destroy The Block | Plant or stop a bomb; one life per round | Choose it when you are ready to slow down and protect a round. |
| Chain Snatch | Score from enemy chains and recover friendly drops | Try it when you want the HUD and pickups to guide your movement. |
What should I do after choosing a mode?
Read the first-session guide for Steam setup, PC checks, and bot practice. Then open the mode page and follow its objective rather than chasing an unlisted reward or XP route. Steam names the modes and basic objectives; it does not publish a universal team size, map rotation, or score target.
